Which Season Are You In?

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 states, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing" (ESV) Seasons is defined as an indefinite or unspecified period of time; a while A while, that's how long I feel like I've been in some of my seasons. A while, I some how wish that didn't seem as long as it sounds. A while, seems like the end is never going to come. A while, yea, it really is as long as it sounds. Friends...How Many of Us Have Them?

As far as I can remember I have always had friends. It never really seemed hard for me to make friends. My dad was in the military by the time I was born & being a "military brat" I always had a variety of friends. Variety meaning they were either male, female, of a different ethnicity, from different countries, different states and/or different lifestyles. I can remember as a child that it was pretty "easy" to make friends and I'm assuming that it was probably due to the innocence of being a child. Friendship came so easily as a child. The principal of friendship is found in Amos 3:3, "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" There has to be some commonality between those individuals. Hopefully the common core is spiritual as well as having goals, morals and values. No you're not going to agree on everything but you will have to have something or someone to hold you together.
